Let me introduce myself. I am Michael T. Miyoshi. Personally, I am a Christian, a husband, and a father. Professionally, I have been an engineer, I aspire to be a writer, and I am currently a teacher and coach. I tell you who I am because like any writer, I write what I know. So while my Musings may cover a wide range of topics, they come from the perspective of who I am and who I want to become. That is why you might read topics ranging from God to family to education to people I know.


My columns appear in The RiverCurrentNews from time to time. I call my column Musings not only because it is part of the title of my first book, Musings of a Mediocre Man, or even just because I like alliterations, but because that is really all I do when I write. I just think about stuff and write. And for some reason, people like to read it. At least that is the hope.
